FLORIDA COUNCIL OF CHAPTERS (“FCOC”)
The Florida Council of Chapters (FCoC) is an affiliate of The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). Both are non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(19) veteran service organizations with 37 Florida chapters, including the Saint Petersburg Area chapter, and over 30,000 MOAA Members in Florida.
MOAA charters the FCOC to conduct training for Chapter Leaders, facilitate communications, and provide expertise and resources for affiliated chapters. The FCOC communicates via a bi-monthly newsletter, The Council Communiqué, a link for which is located on the FCOC website:
The FCOC conducts Council Board Meetings four times yearly, and hosts an annual Convention and a Leadership Training Seminar.
